Is it really that good? My take

The staff was genuinely helpful! My room offered fine views of the lake and grounds.

We experienced disappointment with the dining quality! The bathroom was musty and in need of better cleaning, affecting the overall comfort.

I loved being just a short stroll from the beautiful boardwalk and the cozy café options, making it easy to enjoy good days exploring the area, even though our room could have used a bit more attention .

The staff at the Inverary were wonderful. The location is very nice and the water sport centre were a wonderful way to spend our days. We enjoyed the bonfire at night and were sorry to leave the next day. I would recommend the hotel to any family looking for a getaway with lots of activities for the family.

The only hitch in our stay would have been that the carpet in our room could have been cleaner, the rest of the room was very clean though. So we kept our shoes on, not a big deal.

The Resort was just what I expected from the "resort experience". And it was so affordable! My husband and I were impressed by the pet-friendly atmosphere.

The room we had included central heating, cable programming, and a fridge. The staff were very very helpful and knowledgeable. Beautiful location of the hotel on Boardwalk.

We stay at the Inverery as a stopover enroute. We always enjoy the ambiance and live entertainment at the quaint and friendly Thistledown Pub. The Lakeside dining menu is varied for all tastes. Each plate is gourmet and offers a choice of relaxing inside or on the patio. Staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful. Highly reccommended.

The traditional rooms are slightly outdated and lack personality for such a beautiful setting.

The room we were in could use a makeover.

The hotel was a fabulous base for enjoying a beautiful area, close enough to the beautiful Bra'dore lake front and which is a local Celtic music show put on nightly in town. We enjoyed the room, it was reasonably spacious with a toothbrush, real glasses plus fireplace.

I loved the indoor pool area. It was perfect for unwinding after a long day. Our room was clean and had a beautiful view. Just wished the walls were a bit thicker. I could hear neighbors easily 😊

The indoor pool and Jacuzzi were fantastic. Our room was clean and had a great view of the grounds. We loved the lakeside location and the cozy vibe. Extra points for letting us check in early!

The resort was beautifully manicured and the views were magnificent. The suite had a very comfortable bed and the location was very quiet and peaceful. The finishes were a little old but there was lots of hot water.

When we arrived we asked for an upgrade because after a long day on a motorcycle I wanted a big tub to soak in. We were given a suite in the top floor of a chalet. The room smelled musty, which made my allergies react. The head board had not been dusted. The side tables have footed lamps on them and the cleaning staff only dusted around the lamp and the dust remained in the center. After a long day of travel on a motorcycle we filled the jacuzzi and turned on the jets there were black chunks in the water so we drained it. There was a hair clip on the bathroom floor and long black hair on my bath towel. We went to the restaurant for dinner (group of 8) and the service was terrible. We were made to wait for long periods of time before getting our drink orders. One of the drink orders sat on the bar until the bartender poured it out. Our food orders came out in two groups of 4, so we couldn't eat together. We had to chase the young man with the rolls for a roll because we had been waiting a very long time for our food and we were starving and then we had to ask for a second roll. For that class of restaurant I would have expected a better quality/style of french fry not just McCain. The other 6 in our party were in one of the main buildings and there was no pressure in the shower.

The restaurant was really nice for breakfast here, I had hot dishes.

The only thing we found satisfactory at the Inverary resort, was its position, right on the lakeside.

Breakfast (which was an extra c$16.10 Per person), was well below average, comparing it to simple, but well run hotels, like Comfort Inn, Quality Inn etc. etc. This hotel was by far the most expensive that we stayed in during our one months trip of Canada and the usa - and was by far the most disappointing The room offered to us was dark and furnishings just "OK" We will be very careful about reserving hotels through Booked.net again, as very few options of accommodation were offered by them in this area - an area which we found full of hotels - when we arrived there.
